At Seaview Pentecostal Assembly, located in South Surrey/White Rock, British Columbia, we are passionate about worshipping God the Father, going in Jesus Christ, and growing in the Holy Spirit.
Our church is a place where individuals and families come together to experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Our Priorities:
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Worship:
Humans are created to worship God. We believe that worship does not apply to a single act, but the total way in which a person directs their life. We exist to point ourselves and others towards true worship, which Jesus describes as happening in both Spirit and Truth.
Grow:
The good news of Jesus’ sacrifice for us is that we don’t have to earn a right standing with God. We could never do that! As we accept the invitation to become a disciple of Christ, we respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading us towards Godly character.
Go:
The Holy Spirit empowers believers to join in the mission of Christ. Every Christian is called to a life of purpose, and we take that responsibility seriously. We love because Christ has first loved us, and so we are compelled to go.
What we Believe

God:
We believe God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed
as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus:
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, being both fully God and fully human has revealed
the Father and the Kingdom of Heaven in his sinless life, teaching, and miracles. He offered
himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. It is only through his death and
resurrection that we can be reconciled to God.
Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and Son as God. He draws humankind
to belief in Christ and empowers the Christian for living. The Spirit helps the believer in their
understanding of truth, guidance for living, and He empowers the believer to represent
Christ in the world.
Bible:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired revelation of God’s character and saving purpose
for humanity and creation. The Bible is true and trustworthy, and is the final, absolute
authority for belief and conduct. The Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit who enables both
its interpretation and application.
Humanity:
We believe that mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. We became
alienated from God through disobedience and thus, humans are born with a sin-nature and
choose to act against God’s will. We are completely incapable of attaining right
relationship with God by our own effort. True human identity is found in reconciled
relationship to God.
Salvation:
We Believe that salvation is God’s gift made available by Christ’s death on the cross. He
gave himself as a ransom and by the shedding of his blood, we can become right with God.
It is by God’s grace, not human works that we receive salvation that comes when we repent
of our sin and confess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
Church:
We believe that the Church is God’s chosen method of bringing the hope of the Gospel to
the world. The Church is called into the world to proclaim the good news, both in word and
deed. As a church, we believe that we are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to guide
us as we seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus. A shared faith is what unites the church.
